Thérèse Guay is a 76-year-old woman who underwent a partial gastrectomy two days ago. The patient complained of frequent dyspepsia and epigastric pain (relieved by antacids), weight loss and a sense of fatigue. After a series of tests, a biopsy was performed that confirmed gastric cancer. A partial gastrectomy was performed to remove the cancerous lesion.
